Lift Work

Each November we rent a lift to inspect and clean out the eaves troughs around the clubhouse.  Workplace Health and Safety regulations are quite specific for working in high places such as rooftops and so Jon and Jay, who both have their lift operators licence, are able to get the work done quickly and safely.  This frees up some time to use the lift for some high tree pruning around a greensite or two this afternoon.  We have targetted #7 green as a very shady green and so the fellas are thinning out several trees in that area.

On Wednesday we were able to finish the sod on #14 and #15, as well the bunker sand arrived and so we may take a crack at getting the sand into the bunker on Friday.  We will also be spraying greens, tees and fairways all day Friday after the frost delay, with the final winter fungicide treatment.
