Range Path Construction

The second job for the mini excavator is the cartpath extending to the range from the clubhouse.  In the early phases of the practice range construction project, we knew that after the range was built that we would have challenges about how to get players back and forth safely.  At that time, we were accepting that our current driveway would suffice and that providing carts for the journey may be necessary.  With the range being as busy as it is and considering the traffic in the laneway, a separate path makes more sense.  Hundreds of vehicles move up and down the driveway each day including cars, delivery trucks, garbage trucks, 18-wheelers, dump trucks etc., in day and night conditions.

The tree roots in proximity to the path were no match for the speed and power of the excavator.  The last section of path, about 450 feet will be finished this morning.
