It was an incredible week for our project list and even a few things we hadn't planned like a french drain on #7 to take down excess water in the low spot on the left side of the hole.  When we have rental equipment in as we did, it is hard to resist the urge to dig in drainage or make improvements to our infrastructure.  Maximizing rentals also helps them pay for themselves so we get more bang for our buck.  If you don't like to see construction work being done on the course you probably did not enjoy this past week, but long time members will know that this work has been important over the years to elevate our course conditioning...remember we are in a drought but when things reverse with the weather, we will be back to bailing water and sloppy, mucky conditions.
