Compact Sod dropped off 6000sq.ft of bluegrass yesterday to be used to finish our construction work.  The driver of the truck was very helpful in transporting each of the 9 pallets the the desired sites on #15, #2 and #14...this has not always been the case in the past with other sod companies.  Sodding is actually the simplest part of these projects...the prep work takes all the time.  We were able to finish #2 and #15 red tee decks yesterday, with #2 getting seeded with L-93 bentgrass on top.  Sodding is not always the most favorite job of the staff, but there is a lot of pride and satisfaction amongst our crew when a job is finished.  Today our goal is to finish #14 bunker and get a good way through #2 green/silver tee.

...#2 red tee finished...with good weather it will be open in 8 to 10 weeks...
