Vaccination Update

As of September 22, 2021, the Ontario Government is mandating certain businesses and activities require individuals to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 in order to enter/participate. 

DINING/RESTAURANTS
 
Individuals who choose to dine indoors at our restaurant will need to provide confirmation of their COVID-19 vaccination status along with a piece of identification. Please remember to bring those with you to the club to be displayed when asked.
INDOOR MEETINGS/EVENTS
 
Individuals who are attending an indoor meeting or indoor event at our facility will need to provide confirmation of their COVID-19 vaccination status along with a piece of identification.  Please remember to bring those with you to the club to be displayed when asked.
GOLF SIMULATORS
 
Individuals who book a reservation for one of our indoor golf simulators will need to provide confirmatin of their COVID-19 vaccination status along with a piece of identification.  Please remember to bring those with you to the club.

WHAT TO REMEMBER WHEN YOU VISIT

  

Best Practices:

Physical Distancing

  • Always maintain a distance of at least 2 meters from others.

Greetings

  • Avoiding common greetings, such as handshakes and instead greet with a wave.

Frequent Handwashing

  • Wash hands often and for at least 20 seconds and use hand sanitizer. Avoid contact with face and eyes with unwashed hands.

Self-Monitoring

  • Self-monitor for symptoms of COVID-19 which includes a cough, fever and difficulty breathing. If any symptoms are felt, go home immediately and follow the advice of public health authorities.

Respiratory Etiquette

  • Practice respiratory etiquette, including coughing and sneezing into your arm. Dispose of tissues immediately into trash receptacles.

Physical Distancing & Safety Procedures

  • All Public Health and Government guidelines are followed and enforced at the Club.
  • Masks or face coverings are to be worn in indoor public spaces. A "Face Covering" means a non-medical mask, such as a bandana, scarf or cloth that covers the mouth and nose.
  • If you have any COVID-19 symptoms, or have traveled in the past 14 days, you must self-isolate for a minimum of 14 days before entering Craigowan property and follow government and public health officials procedures for quarantine.
  • Customers, Members, guests and employees must respect social distancing rules of at least 2 meters(6ft) from one another at all times.
  • Hand sanitizer is available for employees and guests at stations around the facility.
  • Observe and obey the signage around the club: There is additional signage around the course for your safety.
  • Wherever possible, doors will be propped open to minimize touch points.
  • Floor markings and signage will be used to maintain 2 meters of space between customers when a line is required or is possible.
  • Designated washrooms will be available with restrictions. Non-essential supplies will be removed.

Property Modifications

We have and will be implementing these procedures at each Cardinal Golf Group facility. These may be altered based on the guidelines provided by the provincial government or local health department.

PROTOCOLS FOR GOLFERS:

  • All tee times must be made in advance of arriving at the club. No walk-on tee times will be allowed.
  • Day of tee time bookings must be reserved via phone at 519-462-2743 or online.
  • Any modifications or cancellations that need to be made to your booking must be made prior to your tee time and arrival.
  • Golfers are not to arrive on site until 30 minutes before their tee time.
  • Golf carts
    • Golfers from the same household may share a power cart without the use of a divider. All other golfers will be provided power carts with a divider. Maximum 2 power carts per group.
    • Pull carts are available on a first come first served basis.
    • Disinfected golf carts will be available in a staging area and issued by the Pro Shop. Power and pull cart return area will be labeled and located between the halfway house and the parking lot.
    • Members are to remove their garbage and dispose of in the designated receptacles located at the cart return area.
  • On Course
    • Please refrain from touching the flag pins. Use your putter and the ball lifted to retrieve your ball from the cup.
    • There will not be bunker rakes and ball washers on course.

MEMBERS:

  • Your membership must be paid in full prior to booking a tee time or arriving at the course.
  • Purchases (Food & Beverage) can only be charged to member accounts, debit or credit. No cash will be accepted on site.
    • Only a member can charge to their account. All charges to the account must be signed by the member.

DINING

  • The Bistro opens daily at 11AM
  • The halfway hut will be available in-between 9's.
  • Outdoor & indoor dining is available
